Nissin Foods Ltd.., as the operator (hereinafter referred to as: „Data Controller”) of the webpage (hereinafter referred to as: „webpage”) hereby publishes its privacy policy regarding the webpage and the services related to the webpage. Data subjects are natural persons who visit the aforementioned webpage, collectively referred as: „data subjects”.

The data subjects can access the Privacy Policy without any limitations at the entrances and exits of Data Controller’s principal office and on the webpage of Data Controller.

  • I. Processing of the data submitted by the data subject

    • 1. Lawfulness of processing

      • 1.1. The legal basis for processing personal data is the explicit consent of the natural person to handle his or her personal data for a specific purpose (contacting Data Controller). The form on the website can only be submitted after reading and understanding this Privacy Policy. The data subjects are entitled to provide only their personal data on the website. If they provide someone else’s personal data on the website, they are liable to acquire the consent of the original data subject. Only natural persons who have reached the age of 16 are entitled to provide data on the recruitment website.
    • 2. The scope of the processed data

      • 2.1. On the Contact webpage, data subjects may submit their personal data in order to get information or give opinion about the services on the website, or about the activities of Data Controller (hereinafter referred to as: contacting Data Controller). During contacting Data Controller, data subject needs to submit the following personal data (submission of personal data marked with a * is a mandatory):

      • 3.1. Data Controller uses the submitted personal data (therefore the submitted contact data in accordance with 2.1 of this Privacy Policy) for the following purposes and duration:
  • a) With contacting Data Controller, the purpose of the data processing is to get information or give opinion about the services on the website o rabout the activities of Data Controller, therefore contacting and briefing a data subject in the aforementioned matters.
  • b) Data Controller processes the submitted personal data for at most 30 days upon receiving the data. Therefore the personal data is processed solely for the purpose of replying to the message, or until the concerned data subject requests the deletion of his or her personal data. Personal data will be deleted immediately at the end of the purpose, after the deadline specified in the application form, or at the request of the data subject.
  • 4. The scope of persons who can access the personal data; transferring to any third party

    • 4.1. The personal data is only accessible by natural persons who work for Data Controller, especially the IT and HR departments, and the related managers within Data Controller’s organization.
    • 4.2. Data transfer is solely possible in case of fulfillment of statutory obligations. The Data Controller reserves the right to have a data processor involved in data processing in the future, whereof Data Controller shall inform any data subject by updating this Privacy Policy on the Webpage.
  • II. Processing of the data collected automatically (cookies)

    If the data subject does not give consent and does not submit any personal data or information on the website described in Section I, data controller does not collect or control any information or personal data in a manner that the data subject could be identifiable in any way.

    By visiting the website and allowing the cookies by clicking the “Accept” button, all data subjects agree that the data controller is collecting analytics data and placing cookies defined in Section II. of this Privacy Policy.

    Such data is the description of the computer of the data subject that is generated during the use of the website and is recorded by the data management system as an automatic result of the technical processes. The data that will be automatically recorded and will be logged automatically when visiting or leaving the site without the statement or action of the person concerned..

    The automatically logged data is not linked nor connected to any other personal data, which is not identifiable on the basis of these data. Such data can only be accessed by the data controller. This data can be collected using various technologies such as cookies, web beacons, and log files.

    Such data includes the following:

    • a) Cookies: cookies are short text files that are sent by the website to the hard drive of the computer and contain information but no personal data linked to the user.
    • b) Log files: the internet browser automatically forwards certain data to the website, such as the IP address (i.e.: of the data subject’s computer, the operating system’ and web browser’s type and version used by the data subject, the domain name as well as the sub-pages visited by the user within the website and the content viewed on the website.

    Data controller – similarly to other service providers and website operators – analyzes this data to determine which areas of the website are visited frequently. Furthermore – also similarly to other major service providers – such data is also used by the data controller to shape the site’s user experience to supremely suit the visitor’s needs.

    Terms of use for cookies:

    Data collected with the aforementioned technologies can not be used to identify the data subjects and the data controller does not associate this data with any other identifiable personal records or data.

    The primary purpose of using such data is the proper management of the website, which requires the monitoring of visitor data, in particular, and the filtering of potential misuse. Automatically logged data specified in Section II. of this Privacy Policy may also be used to discover the visitors’ personal preferences (such as most viewed content on the web site) or in remembrance of the password.

    In addition to the above, the data controller may use this information to correct and improve the features of the website and to obtain comprehensive traffic data for integral use of the website.

    Turning cookies off:

    If data subject does not want the data controller to collect the information described in Section II. of this Privacy Policy (cookies) in connection with the use of the website, data subject can disable cookies in whole or in part in the internet browser settings or otherwise modify cookie settings.

    • 5.4. Complaint may be filed against the data management of the Data Controller based on Article 52 of CXII Act of 2011 at the supervisory authority.

    • 5.5. If the Data Controller breaches the data subject’s right, the data subject may sue the Data Controller. The case appertains to the Kecskemét Courthouse. The case may be initiated at the Courthouse related to the place of residence of the data subject concerned, according to his or her choice.
    • 5.6. Data subject may exercise the right to rectification (Art 16), the right to erasure (Art 17), the right to restriction of processing (Art 18), the right to data portability (Art 20) and the right to object (Art 21) against Data Controller.

    In matters not covered by this Privacy Policy on the Webpage, the Privacy Statement, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council and the Act CXII of 2011 shall be normative. This Privacy Statement has been prepared in Hungarian and in English languages, in any case of discrepancy the Hungarian version shall prevail.
